# How Agents Work: Mind test

> The finish gate.

Glider documentation · Glider Agentic · Web page: https://cgglider.com/docs/agentic-workflow/mind-test/

Sections of this page: [Triage](https://cgglider.com/docs/agentic-workflow.md) · [Phases](https://cgglider.com/docs/agentic-workflow/phases.md) · [Designed motion](https://cgglider.com/docs/agentic-workflow/motion.md) · [Mind test](https://cgglider.com/docs/agentic-workflow/mind-test.md)

Before an agent finishes, mind_test reads the whole page from seven perspectives. Anything the session built must pass; problems the page already had are only flagged for review.

| Perspective | Fails when |
| --- | --- |
| Animations | A clip breaks a motion rule, a workflow has no out clip, a clip was never played, or the motion checks fail: a package that only fades in, linear moves, or every component landing in the same frame. |
| Units and wiring | A unit check or the wiring check fails, a new unit was never exercised, or server units are not running. |
| Layout and visibility | A component is off the canvas or zero-size, or anything is hidden instead of animated. |
| Rundown | An animated page has no rundown, an item is broken, or a new rundown was never run. |
| Data and naming | A bound path has no default, a name is generic, or the structure check fails. |
| Assets | A component points at a file that is not uploaded. |
| External APIs | A credential is written into a request, or a poller field is never shown. |
