Data binding answers “where does this value come from”. Action binding answers “what happens when this is pressed”. A button's Event field carries its own bind button, which opens the action dialog instead of the Binder.

| Action kind | Effect |
| --- | --- |
| Unit action | Sends a typed command to a unit — start a clock, increment a counter, reset a ticker. |
| Animation action | Plays a workflow. |

The inspector prints a summary of the bound action under the Event field, so a button's behaviour is legible without opening the dialog.
