# Pre-flight Checks: Working with failures

> Fixing rather than bypassing.

A blocked go-live tells you which check failed and lists up to six failures. Fix them at the source — most have an obvious structural remedy.

| Failure | Usual fix |
| --- | --- |
| UNCONSUMED | Bind a component to the path, or stop writing it. |
| DEAD_BUTTON | Add the handler, or point the button at a unit action instead. |
| INVERTED_VISIBILITY | Set invert on the binding, or write the value as a hide flag. |
| DANGLING_NODE | Re-pick the node; the id changed or the node was deleted. |
| multi-writer | Delete the duplicate unit, or give one of them a different path. |
| No descriptive name | Name the node or group. |

## Endpoints

```bash
POST /api/pages/<id>/wiring
GET  /api/pages/<id>/structure
POST /api/pages/<id>/script-check
POST /api/pages/<id>/unit-check
```

> **Warning:** There is no suppression flag, by design. A check that could be waved through would be waved through at 30 seconds to air.
