The catalogue and how to add one.

| Type | Use for |
| --- | --- |
| text | Any string: names, scores, clocks, tickers. |
| image | Stills, logos, badges, PSD-imported layers. |
| video | Clips and stingers with transport control. |
| feed | A live input — an NDI, SRT, RTMP or SDI camera or source — like a vMix input in a layer. |
| lottie | Vector motion graphics from After Effects. |
| button | An operator trigger — fires unit actions or an animation. |
| bar | A proportional bar: gauges, timers, vote shares. |
| chart | A labelled cluster of bars driven by data. |
| rectangle | Backgrounds, rules, keylines, plates — cut to any outline in the Shape tab. |

Add one from the palette at the top of the Inspector. On a graphic scene you get all nine plus PSD import; on a control panel you get Text and Button plus the six widgets — slider, toggle, number, input, select, colour.

> **Note:** Control widgets are components too, but they only exist on control-panel scenes and are excluded from the live composite.
