| Widget | Writes | Defaults |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Slider | A number | min 0, max 100, step 1, value 0 |
| Number | A number | min 0, step 1, value 0, no max |
| Toggle | A boolean | false |
| Select | One of a list | Off / On, value off |
| Color | A colour string | #ffffff |
| Text input | A string | empty |
| Button | A value on press, an event, or both | event name derived from the path |

- Every control has a Label and a target Path.
- Select options are one per line, written label:value.
- The value field reads “Seed value” for an input and “Value written on press” for a button.
- Values are parsed on the way in: true and false become booleans, a clean number becomes a number, everything else stays a string.
- A list control repeats a row per array item and has no single seed value.
