# Your First Page

> Build a lower-third that reads live data and plays to air, end to end.

Glider documentation · Getting Started · Web page: https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page/

Sections of this page: [1 · Create the page](https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page.md) · [2 · Design the scene](https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page/design.md) · [3 · Bind it to data](https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page/bind.md) · [4 · Animate it](https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page/animate.md) · [5 · Take it to air](https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page/air.md)

Make a page and give it a name.

1. Open /editor. An unsaved draft is already there — the menu bar's right-hand side reads UNSAVED PAGE.
2. Menu bar → Page. Type a name in the field beside Save as new and press Enter.
3. The status area now reads EDITING <your name>, with a Preview ↗ link beside it.

Saving mints a page id and writes data/pages/<id>.json. Until then the page has no share URL, no live sync and no file store.

> **Note:** Update saved copy writes over this page; Save as new makes a copy. There is no separate Save As dialog.
