> An in and an out.

Sections of this page: [1 · Create the page](https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page.md) · [2 · Design the scene](https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page/design.md) · [3 · Bind it to data](https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page/bind.md) · [4 · Animate it](https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page/animate.md) · [5 · Take it to air](https://cgglider.com/docs/first-page/air.md)

1. Bottom dock → Timeline. Click New to create a workflow and name it lower-third.
2. Add a target and pick the lower-third group.
3. Choose an animation type — Slide, from the left — for the In phase, then add an Out clip with the same type reversed.
4. Press play on the transport and watch it run on the canvas. Adjust the duration and easing until it feels right.

> **Target the group, not the nodes:** One assignment on the group animates everything beneath it. Stagger delays are how you make the lines arrive after the plate.
