# Media: Audio

> Where sound comes from and where it is controlled.

Glider documentation · Building Graphics · Web page: https://cgglider.com/docs/media/audio/

Sections of this page: [Sourcing](https://cgglider.com/docs/media.md) · [Video](https://cgglider.com/docs/media/video.md) · [Feed](https://cgglider.com/docs/media/feed.md) · [Lottie](https://cgglider.com/docs/media/lottie.md) · [Audio](https://cgglider.com/docs/media/audio.md)

Audio reaches the page through media nodes — a video or a Lottie with sound — and is balanced in the Mixer dock rather than per node. The node's own Mute and Volume are the source level; the mixer is the desk.

> **Browsers block autoplay with sound:** The output window will not play audible media until it has had a user gesture. Plan a click on the output before a show, or run the output muted and take audio elsewhere.
