A Feed shows one of this machine's live inputs — an NDI source, an SRT stream, an RTMP stream, or a DeckLink SDI capture — as a picture on the page, the way a vMix input sits in a layer. Inputs are set up once per machine in Settings › Inputs; a Feed names the one it shows.

| Setting | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| Input | The input it shows. Stored as the node's src, which also accepts an input's name (any case) or number (list order), like vMix's input key, title or number. |
| By name | The same value as text. Bind it to a data path to cut between cameras from data. |
| + NDI / SRT / RTMP / SDI | Create a new input and point this Feed at it; Settings › Inputs opens to finish it. |
| Fit | Cover, contain (the default), stretch or none, as for video. |
| No signal | What airs when the input drops: Hold its last picture (default), Black, or Clear to show what is behind. |

A Feed has no plate colour of its own: an NDI source with alpha keys over whatever sits behind it. In the editor a Feed that has no picture shows what it is doing — connecting, waiting for the sender, no signal, no such input. The output never shows those cards.

> **Inputs run all the time:** Like vMix inputs, an input that is on keeps receiving whether or not a Feed is on air, so a take never waits for a camera to connect.
