| Setting | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| Render | svg, canvas or html — the lottie-web renderer. |
| Dir | Direction: 1 forward, −1 reverse. |
| In / Out | Start and end frame, for playing a segment. |
| Speed, Loop, Autoplay, Freeze | As for video. |

> **Note:** svg is the usual choice; canvas can be faster for a busy animation at full frame, at the cost of crisp scaling.
