# Menu Bar: Units & Binder

> Units opens from Logic; Binder opens a tab instead of a dropdown.

Units is the first card of the Logic launcher; Binder has no dropdown. Either opens its singleton tab in the focused pane and closes the menu.

- Units — data-based behaviours: clocks, counters, formatters, pollers.
- Binder — connect element inputs to page data or a live API feed.

> **Note:** Arming a field from the inspector opens the Binder for you, in its own window, so you rarely reach for this menu item directly.
