> Workspace › Multiview: Preview, Cut and Output above the scene tiles.

Press Multiview in the Workspace bar and the window becomes a switcher laid out like vMix's. Preview and Output sit on top with the cut column between them; the scene tiles sit below with the Mixer beside them; PlayList and Overlay buttons run along the bottom.

Overlays cued on Preview are drawn over the Preview scene here, stacked by number as on Program, and on the Preview bus everywhere else: the Rundown's PVW monitor and any output set to Preview.

| Control | Does |
| --- | --- |
| A tile's picture or title | Puts that scene on Preview. Double-click the title for Input settings. |
| Cut | Preview and Program change places, with no animation: the Preview scene and its cued overlays go to Program, and Program's scene and overlays come back to Preview on the same channels. Each scene goes as it stands, so Program shows what Preview showed: a workflow taken Out on a scene stays out, and an animation that is still running carries on where it was. A tile's Cut does the same with that tile's scene in place of the Preview scene. |
| Quick Play | The same exchange, and each workflow that is In on an arriving scene and not yet on air takes its In. A workflow taken Out on the scene stays out. A scene with no workflows is just a cut. |
| Black | Takes every scene off Program and the overlays and every PlayList row off air, at once and with no Out. Each scene keeps its own state, so cutting it back shows it as it was. |
| Clock | Time since Program last changed, over the time of day. |
| A tile's overlay numbers | Left click cues that scene on Preview on that channel; left click again takes the cue back. Right click sends it to Program on that channel; right click again takes it off. Green is Preview, red is Program. Nothing on air changes until you right click or take a transition. |
| Stinger | The same exchange as Cut, hidden behind a transition clip: the pictures change places at the clip's cut point. Pick the clip in Default stinger, between Preview and Program. Black stops a stinger that is running. |
| Overlay 1–8 | The same two clicks for the scene set on that button in Overlays, or for the Preview scene when none is set. A channel with something on Program is underlined red, one cued on Preview green. Clear empties both. |
| Overlays | Overlay setup: a default scene for each of the eight buttons, or Use Preview scene. |
| Record and its gear | Records Program to a file. The gear opens Recording Setup. See Recording. |
| Stingers | The page's transition library: import clips, make one from a scene workflow, export. See Stingers. |
| Start, Prev, Next, Continue, Take All Off | The Rundown's own commands, on its active PlayList. |
| Add Scene | Adds a scene and puts it on Preview. |
| Fullscreen, Monitors, Mixer, Settings | Program full screen; the page's /view in its own window; the Mixer beside the tiles; Settings › Show. |
| Keys | 1–8 put a scene on Preview, Shift+1–8 cut it, Enter cuts Preview. These run while the console has focus. |
