# Data Feeds: WebSockets

| Field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| URL | ws:// or wss://; secrets may be interpolated. |
| Headers | Sent with the connection handshake (auth tokens, API keys). |
| Subscribe | Text sent after every connect and reconnect — a subscribe or auth frame. |
| Reconnect | Wait before reconnecting after a drop; doubles on each failed attempt, up to 30 s. |
| Only when … = … | For a socket that multiplexes message types: only messages whose value at the path equals the text are mapped. |

Listen connects with the feed's own settings, sends the subscribe text and shows the first message that passes the filter. A message only needs to carry the fields it changes: the others hold.
