# Remote Control: OSC & HTTP

> The same functions, two more ways.

Glider documentation · Playout & On Air · Web page: https://cgglider.com/docs/remote-control/osc/

Sections of this page: [TCP API](https://cgglider.com/docs/remote-control.md) · [Functions](https://cgglider.com/docs/remote-control/functions.md) · [OSC & HTTP](https://cgglider.com/docs/remote-control/osc.md)

OSC (UDP, port 9099 by default): the address is /glider/<Function>. Send one string argument in Key=Value&… form, or the function's parameters in order — Page may be left out.

```text
/glider/Take "Item=2"
/glider/Take "Show" "Lower third"
/glider/Event "goal"
/glider/SetData "Path=score.home&Value=3"
```

HTTP, like vMix's web API: POST /api/remote/function?Function=Take&Item=2, or a JSON body {"Function":"Take","Item":"2"}. It is off by default — switch on Settings › Remote Control › HTTP API — and needs the machine's access token when one is set (Settings › System › Access).

Settings › Remote Control lists the last commands from every route with what they did or why they failed.
