# Secrets

> Server-only credentials for pollers and data feeds.

Add, replace, delete.

Logic → Secrets holds one named value per row, stored per page in data/pages/<id>.secrets.json. Names must match /^[A-Za-z_][A-Za-z0-9_]*$/ — letters, digits and underscores, not starting with a digit.

| What the list shows | Why |
| --- | --- |
| Name | How you reference it: {{NAME}}. |
| Digest | A SHA-256 of the value, so you can tell two keys apart without seeing either. |
| Updated | When it was last written, when that is known. |

> **Write-only:** Values cannot be read back after save. The API returns names, digests and timestamps — never the value. To change one, write a new value over it; to check which key is in use, compare digests.
