# Sheets: Formatting

| Group | Controls |
| --- | --- |
| Type | Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough. |
| Font | Family picker; size picker (8–40 in the list, 6–96 accepted) with increase / decrease buttons. |
| Colour | Text colour and fill colour. |
| Align | Left, centre, right; top, middle, bottom. |
| Text | Rotation from −90° to 90°; overflow / wrap / clip. |
| Number | Plain, Number, Currency, Percent, Date, with 0–6 decimal places and increase / decrease buttons. Date results (DATE, TODAY, EDATE…) show as dates without a format. |
| Reset | Clear formatting. |

> **Formatting is presentation only:** A binding carries the cell's value, never its style. Currency formatting in the grid does not put a currency symbol on air — format the value in a formatter unit, or in the graphic.
