| Clip the selected item into the one under the pointer. Click that base again to release. | Alt / Option + click |

| Marquee-select | Drag on empty canvas |
| Nudge 1 px (Settings › Canvas › Nudge) | Arrow keys |
| Nudge 10 px (Settings › Canvas › Nudge) | Shift + arrow keys |
| Lock the aspect ratio | Shift while resizing |
| Scale about the centre (single node) | Shift + body-drag |
| Pan | Space + drag |
| Pan | Middle-drag |
| Zoom about the pointer | Ctrl / Cmd + scroll |
| Copy the selection | Ctrl / Cmd + C |
| Paste at the pointer | Ctrl / Cmd + V |

Canvas shortcuts are ignored while the focus is in an input, a textarea or any editable field.
