Getting the deck recognised.

The driver runs inside the Glider server process, because the panel is on the same desk as the machine. It is off by default: switch it on in Settings › System › Stream Deck driver. Glider warns first, because while it runs it takes every connected deck away from Elgato's Stream Deck app, Bitfocus Companion or any other program using it. GLIDER_STREAMDECK=1 or 0 where Glider starts overrides the setting.

| Supported model | Grid |
| --- | --- |
| Stream Deck / V2 / MK.2 | 5 × 3 |
| Mini | 3 × 2 |
| XL | 8 × 4 |
| Plus | 4 × 2 |
| Neo | 4 × 2 plus touch keys |
| Studio | 16 × 2 |
| Plus XL | 9 × 4 |
| Modules (6 / 15 / 32) | 3 × 2, 5 × 3, 8 × 4 |

A profile is drawn for one model but a deck of another model still works. Pin a profile to one physical unit with its serial, or leave it unset for whichever deck connects.

> **Native modules must stay external:** The driver and the key renderer load platform-specific .node binaries. They are listed in serverExternalPackages; bundling them breaks the native binding lookup with “Cannot find native binding”.
