The model behind the panel.

Four nouns, in order of containment:

| Noun | Is |
| --- | --- |
| Workflow | A named animation. Every clip belongs to exactly one — “no animation without a workflow”. |
| Clip | A duration, an easing, a set of channels, and a kind: in, run, out or emphasis. |
| Assignment | Binds a clip to a target — a scene, a group or a node — in a phase, with an order and a stagger delay. |
| Channel | One animatable property lane, holding keyframes. |

The panel's toolbar carries the workflow selector with New, Rename and Delete, the In / Run / Out phase, and two buttons that show or hide the side panes. The body has three panes: the clips pane on the left (the phase's clips, the selection and the components a clip drives), the sequencer in the middle at the panel's full height, and the details on the right (the selected keyframe, the clip's settings and its triggers). Drag the dividers to resize the side panes, or double-click one to reset it. The sequencer always keeps at least 600 px, so on a narrow panel only one side pane docks and showing the hidden one swaps them. When the panel is too narrow to dock either, a side pane opens floating over the sequencer's edge instead. Close it with its toggle, its ✕ or Esc.

The sequencer is the work surface, so it always keeps its room. Drag the lines between panes to resize them (double-click resets, arrow keys work when a line has focus), and hide either side pane with the two layout buttons in the header. In a dock too narrow for both, only one side pane is shown: showing the other swaps it in. Pane widths and visibility are remembered on this machine.
