What’s new in 0.5.1
More flexible unit assignments, spreadsheet outputs, and clearer source editing.
- Formatter: calculate several outputs from one set of named inputs. Inputs and outputs use reorderable Keys = Values rows, with keyboard reordering and shared on-missing settings. Existing single-output configurations remain compatible.
- Spreadsheet outputs: units can write individual cells. The grid reflects those writes, dependent formulas recalculate, and cell values are saved with the page. Feed fields and whole spreadsheet columns remain read-only; writer-conflict and self-reference checks cover every output.
- Watch rules: compare against a live data, feed or spreadsheet source, or an expression using src and extra inputs. Only the watched source triggers the rule. An empty comparison stays inactive without warnings or blocking going live. The compact When box separates conditions from extra inputs and output assignments.
- Source fields: spreadsheet names replace technical IDs in the editor; single-tab sheets need only a sheet and cell selection. Stable bindings survive sheet renames. Long addresses scroll with the caret. Expression and destination fields offer source, name and function suggestions.
- Editor: workflow trigger paths and values have IntelliSense and syntax colours. Shared source pickers serve controls, repeats and deck buttons; the canvas has a right-click context menu. Ticker units support sheet/array sources, animation and continuous scrolling text.
- Documentation: updated Formatter and Watch rule examples, writable-destination rules, source selection and multi-output configuration in the in-app docs and agent knowledge base.
