Operator Actions
Every show operation — Cut, a scene to Preview, an overlay, the next PlayList row, the next track — as an action that a key, a Stream Deck button or the remote API can run.
What an action can do, and where it runs.

| Runs in | Means |
|---|---|
| The page | A change to the page's state. The Glider window that has the page open runs it; with no window open, the server runs it on the saved page. |
| The window | Needs the live window: its media, Web Audio and the Playout decks. With no Glider window open on the page, the action fails and says so. |
| This machine | Outputs, recording, NDI and the page runtime. Always runs on the server, window or not. |
Switches take a mode — Toggle, On or Off. Playout actions take a profile: the main one or an extra Playout profile. The type names are the ones the remote API and the HTTP endpoint use.
