Audio Mixer

A master bus and one strip for every input of every scene.

Music and beds for the show, beside the mixer.

The Mixer dock has two tabs: Audio, the desk, and Playlist, a list of MP3 and WAV tracks saved with the page. Drop files on the list or press Add; the page must be saved first. The tracks are uploaded to the page's files, in a playlist folder.

ControlDoes
Click / Ctrl-clickA click selects a track; Ctrl-click (Cmd-click on a Mac) adds a track to the selection or takes it out. One track always stays selected, and the last one picked is the one Play Out plays.
DragDrag tracks to reorder them. Dragging a selected track carries the whole selection; what is playing keeps playing.
Play Out / PausePlays the selected track, or pauses the one playing. Double-clicking a track plays it.
StopStops and goes back to the start.
Auto NextWhen a track ends, the next one plays.
Auto FirstWhen playback stops or the list ends, the first track is selected again.
LoopWith Auto Next, the list starts over after the last track; without it, the same track repeats.
Position barShows and moves the playing track's position.
Edit, Remove, ▲ ▼Rename one selected track; remove or move every selected track.
ShufflePuts the tracks in a random order.
ExportDownloads the list as an M3U file with the tracks' addresses.

Glider reads the selected track, and with Auto Next the one after it, into memory ahead of time, so Play Out starts at once even while the editor's other connections are busy. Every playlist control is also an action (Logic › Actions), for a key or a Stream Deck button.

The playlist plays through the page's Master bus, so the master fader, mute and processing act on it. The Program view (/view on the Program bus, every channel) follows the editor's transport and plays the same track at the same position, so a browser source and the Program recording carry it too. If the editor that plays it closes, they fall silent within three seconds.
