Send a page out of Glider itself — NDI with alpha, SRT, RTMP streaming, DeckLink SDI fill and key, or full screen on a display — like vMix's Outputs, Stream and External Output.
Going live on a platform.
Tick RTMP on an output and open its settings: pick the service (YouTube Live, Twitch, Facebook Live, Restream fill in their ingest address; Custom takes any rtmp:// or rtmps:// URL), paste the stream key from the platform's live dashboard, and set the bitrate. Then press STREAM — in Settings › Outputs › Streaming or in the editor's menu bar, like vMix's Stream button — to go live on every configured output at once.
- The stream is H.264 with a two-second keyframe interval, as the platforms ask, and a silent AAC track unless you turn it off: most platforms expect audio and some refuse a stream without it.
- The stream key is never sent back to a browser — the field shows “Saved” — and is blanked out of every error message.
- A dropped connection is retried every few seconds while Stream is on; the Status column shows the last error.
- Streaming encodes with the machine's ffmpeg (RTMP and RTMPS are in every standard build). Settings › Outputs › Runtimes shows what it supports.
