Send a page out of Glider itself — NDI with alpha, SRT, RTMP streaming, DeckLink SDI fill and key, or full screen on a display — like vMix's Outputs, Stream and External Output.
An output in a browser on another computer.
Settings › Outputs › Web has one row per output. Choose how that output reaches a browser, then Copy URL and paste it into the browser or the encoder's browser source.
| Choice | What the browser gets |
|---|---|
| Off | Nothing: the output is not offered on the web. |
| H.264 from this machine | The picture this machine rendered, as H.264 over plain http at /out/<output>. Any browser and any encoder can open it, with no certificate. Quality is High, Medium or Low. Tick Key to send the alpha with it, so a browser source keys it over program as it keys /view; that encodes twice the pixels. |
| Shared browser viewer | The browser follows the same Program picture as the rundown and the outputs. Viewers on the network or on https get those pictures through Glider. |
- The encoder runs only while someone watches. The row shows how many are watching, the frame rate and the bitrate, or Ready, nobody watching.
- Glider picks the strongest H.264 encoder that works with this machine's ffmpeg: VideoToolbox on a Mac; NVENC, Quick Sync, AMF, then software on Windows.
- An H.264 address is always plain http, even when HTTPS is on: a secure page may not open a plain connection to another computer.
- A browser that cannot play H.264 falls back to drawing the page itself, as /view does.
