Workspace Layout
Panes, tabs and docks — how the editor screen is put together and how to rearrange it.
What survives a reload.
The layout is stored in localStorage under glider:workspace:<pageId>, with a separate entry keyed “draft” for an unsaved page. Loading a page restores that page's own layout. Canvas zoom and scroll position are remembered per page and scene.
Repairs on load
- Scene tabs whose layer no longer exists are closed; if that would leave nothing open, the first remaining scene is opened.
- A logic tab named memory is migrated to Data; duplicates of the same section are collapsed to one.
- Tabs from retired sections — events, behaviours, functions, scripts — are dropped.
- Old Poller and Map tabs are converted into a single Units tab.
- Anything unparseable is ignored and the default layout is used; storage failures are swallowed, so tabs simply do not persist.
